Pizzelle & Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream Sandwich

One Word about taste.. AWESOME!

Ingredients:
  •     DeLallo Vanilla Pizzelles
  •     Chocolate hazelnut spread
  •     Vanilla Ice Cream
  •     Chopped hazelnuts
Instructions:
  1. Gently scoop ice cream onto the pizzelle. This works best if ice cream is left to soften, as cookies are very delicate.
  2. On another pizzelle, spread chocolate hazelnut; the spread can be warmed for easier application.
  3. We used a thick layer of chocolate hazelnut spread, a 3/4-inch layer of ice cream and dipped the edges in chopped hazelnuts.
  4. For best results, individually wrap sandwiches and freeze.
