The best way to get finely ground pecans is to put the sugar in the processor with the pecans. These cookies remind me of the greek cookies i make.. A little tip.... Sift confectioner sugar over them while warm. Then when cool sift more. My guess would be to bake 10 -12 min. Depending on how big you roll them.

Ingredients:
  • ½ lb. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 C ground pecans
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions:
  1. Cream sugar and butter, then add other ingredients.
  2. Make into small balls and bake at 375º F. until lightly browned.
  3. Shake in powdered sugar just before serving.
